This half-Japanese girl is off to Nagoya, Japan for a year (or two!) to teach English, backpack around Asia and learn Japanese (or at least more than 'goodnight' and 'stapler'). Tune in for pictures, stories and of course, engrish!

black sesame is the new peanut butter.
Interesting product: black sesame 'cream' I found at the grocery store Thoughts: pretty good. a mix of chocolate and sesame flavours but not too sweet. only thing I don't like is, get this, the colour!
I think there are naturally occurring black sesame seeds (I have a jar to sprinkle on things), which might explain the color. Sounds delicious, no matter what the colour!
Love the glasses, but the sesame cream is a little tar-like looking. Does it stick in your teeth at all, cuz that would be awesome... little bits of black goo between your teeth... In the immortal words of Paris Hilton, "that's hot".
A PH quote means this message is now done (and I feel a little dirty).
It was a little disturbing... especially as it only cost 100yen. Black food costing less than a buck.. who would have thought it could be good on toast?!
