This half-Japanese girl is off to Nagoya, Japan for a year (or two!) to teach English, backpack around Asia and learn Japanese (or at least more than 'goodnight' and 'stapler'). Tune in for pictures, stories and of course, engrish!

Talking about music, I went to see Stars last night! They performed in this independent movie theatre, so the setting was quite intimate. I had never been able to see them so close before, and so in my mind, Torquil (sp?) was actually really Clinton from TLC's "What Not to Wear". It turns out that they're not the same people at all, but I think I prefer my previous envisioning and will stick with it. Also, Amy Millan wore a sequin navy blue dress that really did her no favours. But the music was really good! Elevator Love Letter!
Are you still planning to start up the taiko drumming lessons when you're back in T.O.?
WOW!!! The Yoshida brothers are FABULOUS! We're going to try and get tickets.
