The Elliott Pumpkin

My dad sent me a photo of the Elliott pumpkin - isn't it adorable?! I bet the kids on the street (it seems so strange that there are actual kids living on my street now!) loved it. Today it is chilly (14 degrees!) and overcast and it feels wonderfully like fall. FINALLY. I must admit that summer weather in late October/November is just wrong.

Wrong? I think not. I'm looking forward to warm(er) weather - winter coats and boots make for tough packing.

I like the pumpkin by the way.

I had a go at carving this year too. Ended up as a 6-hr sculpting project on Tuesday night (into Wednesday morning).

I maintain that WINTER weather in late October/November is just wrong, and would very much look forward to some of this "summer weather" of which you speak... ;)
